The Facility:
The symposium takes place in the Botanical Garden's new Environmentally Sustainable Education Center, a facility designed to meet the highest level of certification for green buildings - Platinum LEED. It incorporates many green technologies such as geothermal heating and air-conditioning, photovoltaics, rainwater collection in cisterns, natural daylighting, and more. The Center is a new gateway to the North Carolina Botanical Garden's display collections and nature trails.

What to Wear: This is a casual event, so no suits allowed. Hooray! Be sure bring comfortable clothing, comfortable hiking footwear and rain gear.
