Flexed, hot-pink petals reach upward then slowly expand, widen and gracefully bend down. The cone becomes a very prominent, iridescent orange with red tips. An eye-catcher both from afar and on close inspection. Super with Butterfly Weed, ornamental grasses and Queen Anne’s Lace. Summer Blooming. Easy to grow. Many small to medium-sized butterflies nectar at coneflowers, particularly the American Lady and various skippers. Goldfinch, chickadee and other birds relish the seeds.
