Please fill out the following form to order your 2006/07 Love-A-Tree Kit! |
| This year's Love-A-Tree Program theme is "North Carolina Naturally: One State, Many Habitats." The activities and lessons in the kit help students understand that protecting our natural resources provides habitat for plants and animals and also preserves ecosystem services that are essential for human welfare. Love-A-Tree is a program for 5th grade teachers in North Carolina. Other grade levels may order, but priority goes to 5th grade teachers. Each teacher requesting a kit needs to submit a complete order form. Only one kit per classroom teacher, please. Kits are contained in large envelopes and will be mailed directly to you, so correct and complete address information is essential. |

The kit design and content selections are prepared by the NC Office of Environmental Education under the advisement and direction of select of past Love-A-Tree teachers, environmental educators from North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources (NCDENR) and the Wildlife Resources Commission, and several members of the North Carolina Association of Environmental Education Centers. |
