Nationally Accredited NC EE Certification Program
The Environmental Education Fund has now completed fundraising to begin the development of this program.It will be developed as the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE) develops a national certification or endorsement. Our goal is that when NAAEE does certify or endorse a state's program, ours will be accepted. However, at this time, their program is still in the development stage. We have been asked to serve on the NAAEE Certification Advisory Council, so we will definitely be aware of the direction they are taking. The Office of Environmental Education will administer the new program; the development will take 1-2 years.
